Alden Minor has worked as a professional in the design industry since beginning with Fabricut in late 2007. After obtaining a masters degree in interior design from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, in Los Angeles, Alden established Alden Minor Interior Design in 2011.
Based in the Los Angeles SouthBay, Alden has worked on both commercial and residential projects, including the historic Captain Kidds Fish Market in Redondo Beach, and many homes and condos from Santa Monica to Palos Verdes. Every project brings its own set of needs and is moulded to fit the lifestyle and personality of every client.
Alden loves mixing old classic furniture pieces with unexpected fabrics or finishes, creating transitional looks that stay timeless and reflect the individuality of each client. From an early age, Alden was enrolled in every possible art class in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she grew up. From painting to pottery, she loved it all and clearly had a genuine passion for all things creative, pushing the boundaries with those expressions. While her aesthetic has changed from drawing and writing all over her teenage room walls to a more polished, transitional look, that inner rebellion still shows through in her finished work, making one-of-a-kind forever homes.
